Well, let me tell you, she is a pistol! She was described by the orphanage as extroverted, brave and cute. She is all that and more. The girls from this province are described as spicy girls and Leilani has a spicy temper, especially if we wake her up! At night, we are trying to get into a routine, her bedtime is trying to be 9 pm, she raged loudly for about 20 minutes, then fell asleep for the night and woke up a happy girl! She has been very good today, we went to the village just outside of town and she rode in the ergo happily for 3 hours, bus ride and all, however, the porcelain shop was a bust, she hates enclosed spaces with lots of people and breakable, expensive items. We only got half a chance to look and Mike picked out a little pendant made of porcelain for her when she grows up. I will probably wear it before then, but we have something for her from her province. The provicial government gives each family a vase when you finalize the adoption, so that was nice for her in the future. I could not shop or bargain for anything in the shop because Leilani began to protest!
We have also foubd that she doesn't like elevators, although today was a little better than yesterday. She is totally the social butterfly and goes into every open room!
