Leilani slept better last night. After a little protesting, she slept from about 10:30 to about 8:00 pm. She woke up a much happier baby today. We fed her just a little formula and then we went to the breakfast buffet. She ate eggs, ham, sweet roll, dumpling and of course, watermelon. She is babbling more now and eating a bunch moe than yesterday. She wets diapers like crazy, with no complaints from her and no leaks so far :-)
Our agency arranged for a pediatrician to come see all the kids today for a general health check. We are pleased to say she is very healthy except for a little reddened throat. The doctor said she has sensitive skin and some old chickenpox scars on her back. We knew she was really healthy from her energy level. She is a perfect match for her mommy's energy. I can honestly say I am tired out, but extremely happy. She is everything we hoped she be, cute, full of energy and wickedly smart! She can figure out things very quickly. She is getting to trust us more and more each passing day and now she comes looking for us when she can't see us. She is really an extrovert, she marches into every open door without hesitation. She is having a nap now which is the only reason I am able to actually make a post, she doesn't allow me to type very long before she comes to get me.
