Ok, I know I said 41 was the magic number, BUT I wasn't counting on the C2A2 fooling with us this month and not sending out the referrals at the most
likely (and usual) time. Once again, this adoption process has caught me off guard. I really thought here at the end, I would have learned, but hope springs eternal and I hung my hat on the 21st being THE day. Fast forward to today, offically 3 years, six months since the start of this journey. For numbers people, that's 1, 278 days behind us and a mere few days ahead of us before we meet our daughter for the very first time. We are ready, we know she has been matched to us and her file is just sitting on a desk, waiting for the stork (or DHL) to pick it up and fly.
