Updated Match Information from our agencyThe CCAA has updated their intranet site to say:
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before March 22, 2006.
What does this mean????
Well, we are 5 official days away from our log-in day, but 3 actual days since 2 of the 5 days were weekend days. If CCAA had managed to match one more day this month, I would feel good about saying "we are NEXT!" BUT, and that is a big BUT, we may miss next month by a day, putting our referral in September. A disappointment, yes, but in the overall scheme of things, it doesn't make much difference, we have waited this long, one more month is a piece of cake! I am still hoping for an August referral, planning for September. I can't wait to see our little girl!
I find the closer we get to the end of this wait... the more anxious I feel and the harder the wait is...
