We had a lovely party to celebrate this momentous occasion, a milestone that not many reach, being married for 60 years. We had the party at a nice restaurant, a delicious luncheon and I made a 4 tier Hawaiian wedding cake. I first made the cake at their 50th anniversary and many potlucks and birthdays ever since. We have a running joke that I don't give out the recipe since it is an old family secret. My parents had a great time, everything turned out great!
