November has taken a very long time (5 months) to get through referrals. It appears it will take another month to get to December. In this last year, CCAA has finished only 4 months of referrals. At that rate, with 4 months ahead of us, we have about a year. About a year is the mantra I have been using since our 1 year LID, I think maybe now, it might actually be true. That would put us at 28-29 months from LID to referral. I still hold out hope for a speed-up after they finish with November, until it comes to pass, it will be about a year until we see Leilani!
Here is another adoptive parent's projection on the wait...we'll follow and see how it pans out!
